I fully expected cheering from the leftists in the audience, but it's still unsettling that about 1/5 of our country falls into that camp. Even Vincent above is hesitant to overtly condemn Ahmadinejad and equates him to our own president. Sadly, that kind of treacherous extremism is becoming more and more common in this country.

Absolutely not. Equating the head of a terrorist state to our own president is elevating him far beyond the stature he deserves. That is not condemnation by any stretch. This is precisely why the left is so despised by the reasonable people in this country.

The difference between our countries is that he was allowed to speak to citizens in our country. Also, you can talk all you want about your views of our President.
