Seriously, what you're describing is a pattern. You keep doing what you're doing, and your life won't change. Ignoring your drug abuse for a moment, if you want to talk to people, you need to get out. The world is full of lonely people, entirely because they are stuck in a rut which doesn't give them chances to meet people. There are singles groups everywhere. There are all sorts of clubs, computer clubs for a start. Try to figure out where people who have something in common with you meet, and go there. It's that simple - get out, and put yourself in a place where you can meet people you have something in common with, and you'll have people to talk to. And, don't obsess on the sex thing. If you do, you're going to come across as needy to every chick you meet, and that's not attractive to anyone.

I recommended school to him as that would not only allow him to meet people, but would advance him as a person. That was obviously rejected.

Sure - but, you're not alone in that. Again, I'm not saying you need to hang out in pubs or dance clubs. Go somewhere that you'll feel comfortable because you have something in common with the people there. That's the people who you're likely to be friends with anyhow, right ?

No, I wonder why you keep replying to me talking about that. I must have really made you angry pointing out your stupid beliefs earlier.

You know what chicks like? Guys that aren't desperate douchebags. That also like guys that don't work at Waffle House. Go to school and better yourself so that you have enough self-confidence to not fall all over yourself for chicks. Then they will want you. For cereal.

I went to school. I didn't ever make a lot of friends. Take me to a computer club, or a metal gig, and I'm able to hit it off with pretty much anyone. So, my advice was better :-) I don't think school ever advanced me as a person, everything I've achieved, has been based on things I taught myself, not what school tried to teach me. I am not against schooling, but I don't think it magically makes people better.

By your logic, all guys who are at school are getting laid. This is not true. However, I agree that being desperate for sex at any cost is a recipe for never getting any, for the reasons you stated.

I don't think you need school to be a better person, but in this case you have a guy who works at a waffle house (but in all honesty has more potential than that), is getting addicted to drugs and exhibiting the early sounds of Hannibal Lecterian sexual depravity. I think he needs structure more than anything else. And I disagree that school is a bad place to meet new people.

Well, then you're in trouble. If you're able to give one person the ability to control how your life turns out, then you're screwed. if something doesn't work out with a particular person, be it a relationship, a friendship, or whatever, then, you need to be able to move on. Otherwise, you've given someone who obvioulsy doesn't care about you full power over your happiness. That just can't work out for you.

What is that ? Funny thing is, I get around in a denim jacket covered in heavy metal patches, I go to any metal show I can, my room is covered in music related posters, I'm plainly trying to cling to my teenage years, but when I think back, those years were the worst of my life, bar none.

Cough syrup. Vile stuff. I mean, just awful. The flavor, the vomiting... ...oh, and i guess it messes with your body's ability to regulate temperature or some such thing. So in addition to the aforementioned vomiting and groovy feelings, you can also die. Fun.
