Yes, but it took how many lions to bring down one small elephant? Almost anything can be brought down given enough numbers on the attacking side, but it doesn't mean it's easy.

Small elephants. Real ones, but small enough to fit on your desk at work. It would be superb - stick post-it notes to them and send them off to deliver the message, their trunks make perfect pen/pencil holders. Personalise them, by painting their toes in the colour of your favourtie team. Tusks make good staple remover - they have so many uses. Even under the desk as a sturdy footrest. I can think of only one negative - poo. And possibly the reaction if it saw a mouse. They go ape now, imagine what would happen if it met one half its size.

Long time reader first time poster. Dwarf elephant's[^] refer to extinct ones that developed on islands and Pygmy Elephant[^] refers to a small group that is (maybe) around at the moment. So you better get in now, they're sure to sell fast.

Might I suggest that a desktop sized air breathing octopus might be better? Not only could it change to the colour of your favourite team without the need for paint it could also hold upto 8 pens, imagine that!! Also there would be no mouse problem.

I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)
