I'm feeling depressed today... My boyfriend is getting married on Saturday... I just learned it a week ago... If only I could go to the church and interrupt their wedding... He just did it by mistake... just to make revenge on me... but I know I'm the one he really loves... Should I email this girl and tell her everything about us? What shall I do? :rose::rose::rose::rose::rose: Samantha

As far as your responsibility to her, I don't know. I was in a similar situation. I was 18 and I had broken up with this phsycopath. I had a restraining order and was hiding out. My only hope was that he would find someone else to obsess on. He started dating this girl and she came up to me and asked why I broke up with him. Now the instinct for self preservation dictated that I tell her he was great that I was just not worthy so that she would get together with him, but my conscience wouldn't let me do that to her. So I came clean. I told her he was a very paranoid violent man. I guess that impressed her they've been together for over 12 years. Now get this I put my life on the line for her and she hates me. She's very nice to my face but people tell me she talks all kinds of crap behind my back. Go figure. The moral to the story: You should tell her but don't expect any kind of gratitude. He don't deserved you ! One man that marries someone for revenge , sincerily isn't worth your efforts and love ! Forget him and get a decent guy ! They are lots of god men out here , that surely deserve you ! I even would tell the fiancee the truth, afterall she is been cheaten ! Sorry for being harsh , but this is my impartial view of your sad situation ! The guy is history ! *Pun intended* Cheers, Joao Vaz A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person - Natalie Portman (Padme/Amidala of Star Wars)

She was going through a divorce when we met. *sigh* thank god I am going to go watch a war movie tonight and not a romantic one, otherwise I would get seriously drunk. oh, and if he wants to marry her and you love him then let him go. I never cease to be amazed at the number of women who seem to seek out personal abuse! A friend recently got married. They were going to have a big wedding, but her friends refused to attend, and her father refused to give her away. So did three of her good friends she asked to stand in for him. Mind you, this guy has beaten her repeatedly, shoved a gun in her mouth and threatened to kill her, and that's when he's sober. Now they've eloped and are having a potluck reception at the bar where she works. The word on the street is that two McDonald's happy meals should be enough to feed the masses, as only she and her husband will be attending the event. The bartender has to, else he'd be elsewhere too. We're putting together a pool on how long she lives... Sad. I Drowned Schroedinger's Stupid Cat!

sAmAnThA wrote: Should I email her? Problem I: now, when she's getting married, she won't believe you. For her it will be just you being mad about he picked her not you. Problem II: whenever their marriage breaks, you will be the one who didn't tell her. So this POS maneuvered you into a loose-loose situation. If you like *her*, and if you believe he will treat her the same he did treat you, you should tell her. The "morally best" would be: go tell him that if he doesn't tell her, you tell her. But I guess he just tell her "Samantha was here and totally mad, and telling lies and everything." And for you - Shit. So.. tell her: but personally or by phone, or write a letter - not per e-mail. (But that's only my opinion, I seem to be born in the dark ages ;) Be calm, be "done with him", don't show hatred for him, don't tell her what to do: it's her thing. On the other hand, if they have a closer connection than you and her - except the sex thingie -, it might work out good for both of them (and telling her might destroy this) Sorry for saying that. Oh, Clickety Click :-o I'm so embarassed... the link of course should have been Clickety Click

I replaced the password so, he can no longer used it... when we saw each other face to face I throw some copies of the emails that I printed in front of his face.... But it's going to get better from here. Now that you're not wasting time on him you'll be available to meet someone nice. Review the relationship. Were there signs, any red flags you can look out for next time? Cathy Life's uncertain, have dessert first!

I'm not quite sure if you're saying that your CURRENT boyfriend or your EX-boyfriend is getting married. Based on the "just to make revenge on me", I think it is your EX-boyfriend and you broke up with him. But, based on "If only I could go to the church and interrupt their wedding", it makes me think it is your CURRENT boyfriend or that he broke up with you because you obviously aren't over him. But, if he's your EX-boyfriend, why would you want to "email this girl and tell her everything about us?" - since there is no "us" with an ex-boyfriend. It seems to me that if he is your ex-boyfriend, then there is nothing to tell this other girl and there is no reason to interrupt this wedding. Leave him and his fiance alone and get over him. If he is your current boyfriend, then you'll just have to face the fact that you were the "girl on the side". If he's getting married in less than a week and still fooling around with another you, then you should be happy to get the loser out of your life.

Yes that is very sad. This guy would put a gun to his head and threaten to kill himself if I left him. Luckily I was in therapy at the time and the therapist told me to go to Battered Women's meetings. I went. It really woke me up. Soon after that he broke into my house and was pinning me and kicking me. I stabbed him in the neck with a pen and called the police. He took off. They came. He called on the phone and was telling them he was going to kill himself. The male police officer wanted me to talk to him to calm him down. I said no way. You go take care of him. I'm done. The female officer told me how to get a restraining order. My dad, who was so upset at me for being with this guy that he wasn't speaking to me anymore, filed a complaint against the male police officer. Anyways I learned what personality type to watch out for and I've never been in an abusive relationship since. Cathy Life's uncertain, have dessert first!
