:) "Microsoft Monkey Colony on Mars" Microsoft has announced that a team of monkeys will be shot into space in 2005 to establish the first Martian Colony. At a recent press conference, Bill Gates confirmed, "We are already training the monkeys to do simple tasks like reboot the space ship when it blue screens." :)

Are you aware of "Xenix"? The last release was in 1985. "Looking further back to 1980, we find Microsoft developing a commercial version of Unix called Xenix under license from AT&T. " - http://www.vcnet.com/bms/features/tale.shtml It was designed to be "compatible with all previous Microsoft software and UNIX software. " If I remember correctly, Bill was talking about reviving the Unix-based OS back in the late-80s/early 90s, but I could be wrong about that.
