Yeah. It's been out a bit [was called Redmond Linux... I presume a kinda beta to this ;-)]. I haven't tried it yet but one of my friends has [redmond linux that is ;P].. Same as most other standard linux distro apparently :-) However.. this seems to be a kinda piss take :-) No Seriously.. Redmond Linux has been around for a while :-)

Are you aware of "Xenix"? The last release was in 1985. "Looking further back to 1980, we find Microsoft developing a commercial version of Unix called Xenix under license from AT&T. " - http://www.vcnet.com/bms/features/tale.shtml It was designed to be "compatible with all previous Microsoft software and UNIX software. " If I remember correctly, Bill was talking about reviving the Unix-based OS back in the late-80s/early 90s, but I could be wrong about that.
