And since I'm Jewish it would probably be extra funny.

Dress up as the head of the IRS, that would be really scary.

Normally I do not dress up for Halloween but our company is having a contest and the winner gets a new desktop system so I'm intrigued. Any ideas on something cool that would be work appropriate?

Dress like a bug. The costume could be an insect made with blue screens, "can't compile" messages etc.

Dress head to toe in pink and put a shoe on your head - Be Bubble gum on the bottom of a shoe! That was my costume a few years ago. Or get a piece of plywood, cut a hole in the middle and wear it around your waist. Wear a lampshade on your head, put an alarm clock on the board and maybe a book, and a t-shirt with a "1" on it - go as a "One night stand"

How about dressing as a Pez dispenser that looks like Nicole Brown Simpson? A cardboard box, a papier mache head, a hinge and a quart of strawberry jam should do it...

Get a large box, as tall as you, cut holes for feet, and stick on four plastic mirrors, one on each side, and you can go as everybody else.

Dress in normal jeans and tee shirt, go around asking people stupid questions that even your dog knows the answer to, calling them dear, and miss out every vowel of every word, and when asked what you have come as tell them you are the C# forum on CP. I'm going to bed now - you *MUST* post a photo of you in your costume. (How I wish this was in the soapbox....)

Normally I do not dress up for Halloween but our company is having a contest and the winner gets a new desktop system so I'm intrigued. Any ideas on something cool that would be work appropriate?

Hey! I finally found a picture of myself!

Go as the Invisbile man but don't turn up - then tell everyone you did the next day. "But I didn't see you" they will say "See how good my costume was!" you can retort.

go as one of those luge guys (dunno, would you call them lugers?) and find like the least steep slope possible n slide along it. then say "what a rush"... oh wait, work related NVm :sigh:
