With the death of both our cats in less than a month, I have dug my heels in. I'll get another dog, but not another cat, at least for a while.

We lost a cat a little while back. Archie. When I say lost I mean I had to get him put down, poor little sod. Got hit by a car, probably. Had tail pull: vet said best to put him out of his misery. Very sad. Still got one more and that is enough. For now...

Dogs look Up to you. Cats look Down on you. But a pig treats you as an equal! Get a pig as a pet. They are clever, housetrainable, eat all leftovers, don't bark and are amusing to look at. You might be worried about the smell, but I am sure the pig will get used to it!
