How's it going there? Is the lawyer wearing a clown outfit?

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

:-D not yet, but he sure painted their witness with the face paint. Also, he got the Judge to verbally harass & subdue their lawyer because it seemed like he was feeding him the words to say.

Ok. I just got back from court. Their first witness and to quote their lawyer their "prize witness", was their Regional Manager. Background info: After I found the worm I called the restaurant and they seemed rather nonchalant about the incident, so I email their headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon (no Chris, I live in Amman, Jordan :)) with pictures of the worm in the salad and a polite rant telling them I'm no longer coming to their establishment because their behavior was even more disgusting than the worm. So, 10 days later, this guy shows up carrying a fruit basket and another basket filled with restaurant goodies (mostly sandwiches and croissants and what not) and an open invitation for two (my wife and I). So this guy comes along, and agrees that he showed up with the stuff I mentioned, but doesn't even mention that I sent them a complaint, but states that I called the restaurant and threatened them with mass emailing the images. Also, he said he was sure that it was me that sent out the emails because I was an actor in the incident. It took my lawyer 10 minutes (its a SLOW process :sigh:) to pretty much decimate his testimonial. My lawyer asked him whether he was sure I sent out the emails and eventually cornered him into admitting that he is sure of this because it is the only obvious conclusion. Tune in next Tuesday, December 4th for the next episode.

Since it is a public trial, a friend of mine who happens to work with me, is considering attending the future sessions and filming them, but they're in Arabic  However, if he does film them, I'll post them somewhere and have the clips sub-titled in English & French. :)

For those that are interested with what is happening with my court room drama for the case to which I have been subpoenaed (ref: Clickety[^] ) today is the first real court session. Its actually the 3rd session, but the first two session where bureaucratic fillers where they formally submitted their charges and the session after we formally submitted our responses to the charges. Today, they bring a so called "witness". A quick refresher, They're suing me for slander, harmful defamation and damages. For a worm I found in a salad I ordered from them. Go figure. So, in light of all this, I've wracked my brains trying to figure out what the heck is this guy going to say. I honestly can't wait for the court to be in session just so I can hear what this guy has to say. Wish me luck!

Maybe what you should do is claim that the worm bit you. Then sue for medical expenses.
