Your the second person this morning that was mention how much fun guitar hero is! The co-worker next to me said he played till his hands are numb. Either way, I'd go for the Rock Band version (I'd love to get one right now, but waiting for the Wii version to be released!) Ummm oh yeah ... ROCK ON GIRL..ROCK ON :cool:

My husband does that and then complains the next day. I think all platforms are being released tomorrow. Guitar Hero is so big here that they have large public contests at our local performance center.

No, not at all, but my husband does not play any real instruments so it's one way for us to enjoy music together.

Well, my wife is getting me Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas. I am waiting to play it until then. If I were in college or something rockband would be great. But now that I'm 30 years old, I find it rather difficult to get 3 people to play with me.

I'd be tempted to get either if they actually taught you how to play the proper instruments, but I understand that they don't...

I'm looking forward to the game a ton, but it is not being released in Canada till sometime in December now. Until then I just have to keep playing GH2 and GH3.

It is only $10 cheaper in the states and between duty and shipping I would save nothing. Plus the time it can take to get through the border its probably just easier to wait.

whats your high score on "raining blood" and "through the fire and the flames"? there's a video on youtube of a 10 year old beating "through the fire and the flames" on expert, just looking at the notes made me want to cry...

100% no! i hated the game for the longest time because it reduced playing the guitar to button pressing, but after playing it for a while i realized that playing most of the songs on the guitar is much easier than in the game. fudging game creators over complicating things!
