We've been playing Guitar Hero for awhile and we tried the drum set that is included in Rock Band at a local store. I have to admit I find the drums more fun than the guitar and may purchase Rock Band. Anyone else looking forward to it?
Well, my wife is getting me Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas. I am waiting to play it until then. If I were in college or something rockband would be great. But now that I'm 30 years old, I find it rather difficult to get 3 people to play with me.

I'd be tempted to get either if they actually taught you how to play the proper instruments, but I understand that they don't...

I'm looking forward to the game a ton, but it is not being released in Canada till sometime in December now. Until then I just have to keep playing GH2 and GH3.

whats your high score on "raining blood" and "through the fire and the flames"? there's a video on youtube of a 10 year old beating "through the fire and the flames" on expert, just looking at the notes made me want to cry...

100% no! i hated the game for the longest time because it reduced playing the guitar to button pressing, but after playing it for a while i realized that playing most of the songs on the guitar is much easier than in the game. fudging game creators over complicating things!

Yeah, I think the drums would be more fun than the guitar. I'm thinking about it, but it's a hefty price tag, heh. Flynn
