I guess 'Peace on Earth' was much farther down the list.:)
"Peace on earth" is a failed/abandoned project, and the source code is no longer available because that POS we all know as SourceSafe crashed AGAIN. In lieu of finding a reasonably recent backup, I asked for a gun.

While it's entirely possible to take down a deer with a .22, it would be much harder to do because of shot placement. Besides, Bambi's been dead a long time.

Why, yes, yes it can little man. So my advice is to not ride your BigWheel onto a shooting range while the adults are practicing. For what it's worth, if I was going to "kill people", I certainly wouldn't advertise it here, and I'd probably use something with a bit more punch. Sure - a 22 will bounce around inside you before it kills you, but it would more than likely give you a chance to fight back before your newly swiss-cheesed innards decided to quit working. If you're really interested in preventing somebody from getting up, I'd use a 9mm or maybe even a 45. You must have missed the post I made a few months ago about taking up competitive shooting. This is just another class of competition called "Cowboy Lever-Action". The gun used for the competition must be a lever-action rifle in the appropriate caliber (in my case, .22LR), and can only have open sights (no scopes allowed). All shooting is done offhand - standing, and without a sling, etc. BTW, it's okay not to like guns or want one of your own. But given that I live in the US, I'm well within my constitutional rights to own them, to defend my right to own them, and to not give a rat's ass how you feel about it.

Do you have the same problem with my screw driver collection? These have been known to kill people, but I'm continually adding new ones to my collection, just like John. People kill people. That's a sad fact of life.

I have a whole garage full of dangerous tools, and I slipped on water on our tile floor last night and almost killed myself in the fall. Maybe we should get rid of water, too. :) (This guy is why I don't talk here about the other guns I have that are intended for home defense. That would probably scare the crap out of most people. All of my guns are locked up in a gun safe that's bolted to my garage floor, except for a couple of 9mm pistols I have strategically placed around the house.)

I don't know the first thing about guns, you're better off talking to my uncle and his sons. He's a hunter in the pure meaning of the word. Big game and all that. But that was years ago. I'd love to get into it TBH. I just can't get myself to make the time to actually get things started.

I don't see how competitive shooting makes me sick or twisted. I used to shoot competitive archery, but I bet you don't have a problem with that. Last I checked, an arrow was just as lethal as a bullet. As for being racist, that's not true either. I hate everyone the same way/amount. That might mean I'm anti-social, but it doesn't mean I'm a racist. Lastly, if by "redneck", you mean I like fast cars, fast women, and fast food, and that I'm a gun-toting constitution-defending madman, then f*ckin-a - that's what I am!
npclntxz.dll wrote:

No it doesn't, imbecile, but thanks for playing our game today. Johnny! Tell him what he's won!
npclntxz.dll wrote:

NO, I think a 357 magnum was made to cause the most injury. It'll kill a car.
npclntxz.dll wrote:

Sure. Shooting at paper targets and little steel animal silhouettes is perfectly legal and loads of fun to boot. Hell, if you break into my house and I even feel just the tiniest bit threatened, I could blow your head off and still be well within my legal right to do so. This will REALLY push you over the edge - I have a concealed carry license, meaning I'm legally allowed to carry a loaded concealed handgun wherever I go. I don't do it a lot, but I do it, and ya know what? Not a single person or animal has died as a result. Just to make sure you're drooling with anger, I killed six squirrels with a pellet gun this year, so I guess that means I'm more likely to go off on someone with that pellet gun than with one of my 22 rifles. I don't want to tell you why because the reason might somehow temper your anti-gun fanaticism somewhat, and now that I have you worked up into a good head of steam, I see no reason to avoid having you sputter your drivel.

If you're going to bore me, at least bore me with something original. You've already used those names.

No. The White House has security personnel to do that. However, I'm likely to laugh and point if someone is actually stupid enough to think they can steal food from the White House like that.
