Hi Mike, I just saw your reply to my graphics post and was wondering if you were going to the summit, so I thought I'd take a look at this old post first, and it seems you are! I've never been up there, even though my brother's been living there working for Boeing for maybe 15 years. So, my GF and I are making a vacation out of it and staying a few days after the summit. I just booked flights the other day - I will be arriving Sunday morning, so I'll be able to attend any CP thing Sunday night. Thai food sounds excellent... I'm still waiting for Christian Grauss confirmation :) Mark

Damn. I wish I was an MVP now. This sounds like fun.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

Hi Prasad, You're an MVP? I did not know that. What category? I'm at the Sheraton as well. Cheers, Mark

I'll be going to the 2008 Microsoft MVP Summit. It would be great to put faces to the names I've seen here over the last few years. Would anyone be interested in meeting up for a meal on the Sunday evening before the summit starts?

I'll be there! The only problem I see with Sunday is that Party with Palermo is the same night, so unless everyone wanted to meet there we would have to decide which one to go to...or some way to do both. :)

I haven't talked to Christian in a while, but I saw a post where he said his MVP status wasn't renewed. :|

I'll be there, but will be accompanied by Smitha (my wife) and Rohan (our son). So that's going to make me a lot less mobile than the others. But I do hope to run into you at one of the sessions :-)

Well, it seems there is so much stuff going on already that I don't think it will be wise to try and cram more stuff in there. I'll be wearing my Code Project t-shirt at some point, so come up and say hello if you spot me!

I just left you a voicemail at your room and my cell number is in the message. Call that number if you see this before you see me in person ;) (I'm heading over to the registration area now, and I'll double-check that the restaurant is still there.)

Well, I went by the restaurant, and it was closed. I didn't see a sign listing their hours, so I don't know if they are just closed until dinner time, or closed for the whole day. :| I just talked to Colin and I decided to tag along with him to the Party with Palermo[^]. Hope to see some other CP folks there!

The only MS summit that'll be held here will be the MCP - Most Complaint Professional

"Here" means what? CP or Singapore? Why do you think that it would be "Most Complaint Professional"? Is that a joke?

Thanks and Regards, Michael Sync ( Blog: http://michaelsync.net)

Here = Singapore. Well, I guess you have not mingle with the local a lot yet, cause we Singaporean like to say that we like to complain about anything, a lot.
