I don't have an address. Any information they get would lead them to the wrong location.

If that is true then it might make it a little harder for them to find you, but it is just a matter of time before you get caught shoplifting (like you said in the soapbox that you do), then just think all the fun that will ensue when the prosecutor finds your posts here or searches your laptop.

I just download them for free. Along with the thousands of high quality pirated songs I have. They are not really pirated. My brother owns the cds and he ripped them all and let me copy his harddrive. :-D I use bittorrent for my illegal downloads. I download games with no cd cracks so I don't have to worry about securom and laserlock and all that. I also have software that can make 1:1 clones of DVD movies. I can safely say that I will never ever ever buy a cd or a song ever. Even if I couldn't copy or download I still would not buy the shit, I would just go without, but there is always a way and I will take advantage and stuff my HD with goodies. TAKE THAT YOU STUFFY OLD MAN! IM RICH WITH SHIT I DIDN'T BUY HAHAHA! THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF BIT PATTERNS FOR FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!! ;P

Well, not much can be said of someone with obvious pride in low and base morals. In fact, not much can be said to such a personae. Not cool dude. Where's the fraternity? Granted, the music and movie industry makes zillions more than they need and they are very greedy (IMO) but that does not give you the right to blatantly steal, and also, it is their due simply because they're smart enough to manipulate the market. Free Market economy and all that. Go and engineer some software that would make you as rich and then let's have some pissant come and download it. Let's see how you would feel then.

It's too bad that there are so many retards in the world who see nothing wrong with buying pirated movies. I know that many members of my wife's family keep their pirate DVDs hidden from me, because they are sick of me telling them my thoughts on the topic.

Unfortunately everything they try and do ends up screwing the legitimate consumer. I can't tell you how sick I am of anti-piracy videos on DVDs I've bought and paid for. I know piracy is bad! That's why I paid for this one, idiots! The likes of Starforce on games, that allegedly knacker your CD drives, games that refuse to run if you have any CD emulation software installed, having to keep copies of manuals so you can re-enter CD keys for games you re-install... Well, I expected no less, that's for sure. I take satisfaction in making enough money that it means nothing to me to buy the CDs and DVDs I want, and I can't help but think that taking a moral approach to how I live is one reason I have achieved that.

Well, that last one actually seems quite appropriate, otherwise your 'freind' might 're-install' it on his machine ;)

Good for them. This is the kind of big-bucks piracy the Big Media Conglomerates(tm) need to concentrate on, and not Joe Schmoe who makes a personal-use copy of his "Finding Nemo" DVD for his kids to use so they won't destroy the original.

Don't those usually cost a pretty penny or two? I guess if you have a product to sell in mass to the masses of customers, it is a definite must.
