I'm curious now. Purely out of curiosity (well, OK, boredom too ;P ) I looked at Wikipedia. That letter is present in the Faroese, Icelandic, and Turkmen alphabets. Speakers of those languages constitute 0.0000015% of the Earth's population. Or did the Turkish dotless I get encoded incorrectly? :~

    Cheers, Vikram.

And note that he can actually use the "I" if he wants to! :) "... SÝMPLE 2D(LÝKE SIMPLE RECTANGLE) ..." Anyway, even though I agree that reading this causes me to sigh, I wouldn't have posted a private message to the boards. It's not exactly nice, especially since the sender can read the boards. :)

Link? Pretty sure I have Ý on my keyboard (it's uppercase from ý), and while I never looked up where does this letter came from, I think our alphabet is missing on the list :)

Isn't that the one full of religion? :~ Upon the recommendations of a friend and a corporate trainer, I borrowed that book but I didn't go beyond a few pages. That was 3+ years back, so I could be thinking of something else....

I don't remember if it had a religious tint to it or not. If it did I just let that go past me and paid attention to the actual techniques, which aren't specific to any particular path. Struck me as common sense more than anything else.

I don't know if Capone actually said this or not, but in the Untouchables movie, De Niro was talking about his neighborhood and said, "You can get more with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word." :)

That's a correct Al Capone quote. Only I think it has the word "alone" at the end of it. But this posts two different quotes that more or less mean the same. Look to the last two: Clickety[^] I had it on a shirt I bought at the museum in Chicago when I was visiting my uncle back when I was younger. I don't know why, but I thought Scar face Al (Capone, not Pacino) was the coolest thing since kool aid (hey, I was 12!) :)

If being a smarmy suck-up is a religion now, yeah. To be fair, i haven't read it. I sat through a speech by the author years ago though, easily among the most depressing things i heard while in school. Next time you're having a conversation with someone you've just met, and they seem to be repeating your name a lot... ask 'em if they've read the book. It's like, a dirty little "make you like me" trick or something. :sigh:

One solution: Cut out the shape you want in paper. Use either sticky back plastic of blue-tac and gently attach the shape to the bottom of the mouse. Now move the mouse around and give it a good shake - the shape should fall off the bottom of the mouse. :sigh:

That actually took me about 10 seconds, due to the error in "Notflic". :) Marc

:sigh:

But who is the king of all of these folks?

I do that to many people, and I didn't need some silly book to tell me that. ;P
