Well, not exactly a profession, because I don't get paid, but I am a volunteer firefighter. I am SCBA certified, but not a team-leader yet (I don't have the time to do the courses). I also am trained in technical rescue (extraction, etc.). I also used to be a call-center-agent (yes, I was one of the bad buys, but I got fired because I refused to lie) and a technician for hand-held computers (PSION workabout MX, Blackroc P60) which are used to print traffic tickets. (You gotta love cops: One officer dropped his handheld. Instead of getting out of the car, he decided that rolling over it was a better idea. After he finished, he still couldn't get to it from his seat, so he rolled over it AGAIN.)

I've never worked with "Old Lime Render" but I'm assuming its comparable to plaster that we use here. They put lathe strips on the wall and then trowel on an under layer then a finish layer. In these cases you need a razor knife and a small thin pry bar and a light hammer. You'll have to basically cut out the old trim by taking the razor knife and cut the outside and inside of the trim. Score it real good then gently tap/sometimes rather sharply from the WOOD side force the pry bar between the joint and pry away. As you're prying watch the Rendered side to be sure that it is scored/cut deep enough that you are not harming or pulling anything else with it. In cases like this you have to just be gentle but firm! Thats about the best advice I can give you! But if you have any other questions feel free to ask! Good Luck, Mike

Volunteer for a Church. I take the sound guy part most seriously, followed by the youth work. Also a student.

After a years worth of excellent emails from this place I thought I would speak! First off excellent job people your news emails are my morning wake up giggles! Besides development I'm a cannabis smoker (give whatever tag you wish) and this fuels my 2nd passion for my own site www.stonerscolony.com , this in combination with coffee shop trips, visits and reviews etc makes for much more interesting days than working...evil word... Again big :-D for work done people ! Look forward to reading many more emails!

When I'm not developing software for the company I work at I'm cleaning the office because my side job is as a cleaner and my only client is the company that I develop software for. No really I'm not kidding. I also used to be a chef up until about 2 years ago, now I don't even want to look at a frying pan, which is probably how I will feel about computers in about 10 years.

Sometimes I get the off and odd job as bodyguard. When the americans come to my country they want some protection and they pay well, and it isn't as dangerous as it sounds. At least not as dangerous as C++ programming, :laugh: NOTE: I live in Costa Rica
