Anyone else played it yet? If so, what do you think of it? I think its pretty freakin' cool. I've only played a couple of missions though.

"Like it or not, I'm right!"It's awesome! I got it the day it came out! Yes, it may be functionally like SC, but to me that's all the better. I've been playing SC for years, and it was time for something new. WC3 is all about MICRO! Mass attacks can be warded off by an adept hero, which makes strategy all the more important. And the missions and scenarios are only one dimension to the game... Battle.net takes it to the next level (as it did with SC). It's much more fun when you know there's a human on the other side  Nitron _________________________________________-- message sent on 100% recycled electrons.

I played it, It wasn't all that great. (A huge ripoff from Starcraft and Heroes 4). My friend beat the game the day before it came out!
A huge ripoff from Starcraft? Warcraft came out before Starcraft. Starcraft is warcraft in a space setting. Warcraft 3 builds on the same concepts as the original and adds a rpg element. That said, how did blizzard manage to 'ripoff' its own game concepts from one of its own games.

Ok. Here's the reason I said that. Yes War2 came out before Starcraft, and War3's Orcs and Humans are close copies of the original races. But! The undead and the elves are something between Zerg And Protoss. The Undead build like Protoss and have something like a "creep" from the Zerg. The elves build like the Zerg, and their buildings move like what the Terrans could do. Couldn't Blizzard find some more original method of constructing? They are ripping off it own game because they reuse the old concepts from their "unrelated" games.
