From an email I received this morning: I am ali ahmad from Pakistan, I have taken you email id from codeproject I want to become an architect, so can you guide me a path which I can follow, can you send me the contents and materials from beginning to expert how could I follow that path. Let's see: MCCSA Degree (Marc Clifton Certified Software Architect Degree). I could a make a bundle, right? Acronym sounds good. Sort of slithers off the tongue. Marc

That surprised me - you don't normally get Pakistani people asking stupid questions on CP.

If you could make it spell MECCA instead you might have something.

Thank my mother, who liked the painter Franz Marc, and liked the different spelling, and worse, gave me a hyphenated first name (joined with my father's first name) so my birth name is actually Marc-Thomas Clifton. Ever try filling out those Scantron cards at school where everything is bubbles, and you have to ask your teacher "what do I do about the hypen???" :sigh: Marc

You think you've got problems? I was named after an RN boxer (my dad was an officer) whose nose looked like it came from a Franz Marc painting! And he was black, and I'm a Celtic-type redhead. Granted, the wrong spelling is the worst possible situation, but we've all got our own crosses to bear.
