At first glance I thought this post read Scarlett Johansson easy. Damn, I wish that was the case - right I'm off to ebay.

I bet they have a "no pants, no service" policy as well.

What a waste of money. The current bid is up to $30,100. I can think of a lot of things to do with that much money than just shaking her hand, or anyone's hand for that matter. For that kind of money the winner should at least get to have dinner with her. Kalvin

despite what the original link says at msn.com, the auction is for a "meet-and-greet" at a movie premiere - you'll be lucky to get more that a "Thanks for your charity donation" and a hearty hand shake from her ... and except for local transportation, you are responsible for getting to the city that is holding the premiere (either LA or NYC)

Yeah, and from the listing's FAQ: Q: How long will the meet and greet last? A: There is no set amount of time but it is estimated to be a brief visit due to Scarlett’s schedule that evening.

Yeah a complete display of all her talents. I bet she could suck-start a Harley.

I just happen to have a Harley, a 2001 Road King Classic. I've yet to meet the girl who could, but I'm still hoping... :-D

Wow - when I spend $19,000 on a date, I expect something for it.

And the sad thing is that in the fine print it say something along the lines of, "for a short meet and greet"..."due to her schedule." You don't even get to have a real conversation. Man, I wish I could get people to pay 19+ grand for 30 seconds of "hello" and "nice to meet you".

Well, you could spend $30,000+ on a handshake with Scarlett or $500/hr on something more with these ladies in Nevada's finest resorts: http://www.sherisranch.net/our-ladies.php[^] Link is courtesty of a college paper I wrote. Kept it Bookmarked for a possible future "vacation." What could an overworked developer get for $30,000.... choosing between Scarlett or *them*.... there's no need to make a choice at all. :-D

Q: Is my bid tax deductible? A: Your winning bid is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Please consult with your tax adviser for more information. at least it is tax deductible... if you are winning of course ;P
