Do you take requests? I need you to go back to 1972 and slap me in the head? (hard), to keep me from marrying my ex! Any help would be appreciated! :) Mike

Business idea: I go back in time and take away everything you own, so you can find someone who loves you for what you are. If th relationship proves stable (say, ten years), you can have back what you gave.

But if you did that, where did this message come from ?

Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++ "also I don't think "TranslateOneToTwoBillion OneHundredAndFortySevenMillion FourHundredAndEightyThreeThousand SixHundredAndFortySeven()" is a very good choice for a function name" - SpacixOne ( offering help to someone who really needed it ) ( spaces added for the benefit of people running at < 1280x1024 )

Good point. I must have died in the process of time travel and not managed to edit myself out. I am doomed to repeat.

Ah, the joys of time travel[^]. Hopefully by the time you read this I will have entered their ranks and performed my first feat of deft historical realignment. Though come to think of it, if I had been successful then I would have already come back and adjusted this message to say I had been successful which, judging by the lack of such a message, leads me to think that I wasn't successful and probably edited myself out of the timeline. Bugger.

Thanks for the offer but you know the old saying "what goes around comes around"? Well 12 years after the divorce she met with bad circumstances and I'm getting the stuff back. go figure? Appreciate the offer though! Mike

And, when you are back 'then', give me a little push out into the world. I would like the happy chance of actually doing some of the fun stuff I was accused of doing by my ex... ;P

heck yeah! Bang me up the head with that 2x4 before I married my 2nd ex and give me the number of my lawyer... I was accused of doing to her somethings that would be nice to try!

Getting one would be a reason to go back.

Yes, I know, but I want one even if it isn't a hover-capable fusion-powered time machine.

Oh he11 ... just go back to 1978 and shoot me before I buy my first computer. Of course, if you do, this message will disappear and you will never see it so you can't go back and shoot me, in which case this message will still be here ... unless you go back and shoot me.
