However, a warmongering alien race bent on destruction of carbon based lifeforms has now been alerted to our existence, thanks to Wayne and Chardonnay pledging their undying chav love for each other. Blark of the Thargosians imminent arrival may not be the notification they were quite expecting.
I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)

The dedicated deep space dish makes it sound like a scam (well, amongst other claims). They probably have a HughesNet DirectPC dish! What a waste of money. Clever, though, and I'm sure others will be intrigued enough to send them money.

The dish is only a few miles from my house, it's part of what used to be our end of the transatlantic satellite comms link. My Dad used to work in communications and was involved with receiving the first transmissions from Telstar. :cool:
