      It must have taken ages to work it out, and yes Weird! However, for several reasons I haven't entirely fathomed yet, it works! ( Only the Japanese would do something like this! ) Hiro and Ando, Dancing! :)

        I think it captures very well the perception of the Japanese culture (and even perhaps how the Japanese perceive themselves or desire to be perceived): coordinated mechanistic social behavior with surpressed individuality that yet manifests in unpredictable ways. Marc

          Actually, this is broadcast regularly in Japan on NHK's educational channel, as part of a program called pythagoraswitch[^]. I think other stuff from the program has been posted here already... like this[^]. NHK's page[^] seems to be only in Japanese.
