HI Is there any way we can hide the status bar of IE 7 programatically in javascript or in code behnind file of ASP.NET, not by setting the browsers setting manually from internet options in browsers, kindly reply ASAP, thankx in advance.

This isn't hiding the status bar itself but it can hide or change the contents. http://www.cryer.co.uk/resources/javascript/script2.htm[^]
