I honestly can't fathom why anyone would vote his article lower than a 4... Perhaps it's a lack of intellect on the part of the voter...

More likely, it is because you recommended it - and a lack of intellect or integrity.

I thought so. I didn't know anyone else noticed this[^]. I hope it's because the article is at John's level... Seriously, the last code block should be in Coding Horrors! All the best, Nick

I'm a little confused. by your response. I wasn't suggesting that John was showing a lack of integrity but that folks who down voted the article might have done so because of their lack of it and their antipathy for him. I apologise to you and anyone else who got the wrong idea.

I see the joke icon on the message, but I'm not sure what to make of your post.

Oh god! I'm an article pariah! I should go remove the links in my articles about other people's articles that I used to avoid having them voted down simply because I linked to them. All kidding aside, the people that do this - and the fact that there's nothing Chris can do about it - pisses me right the fuck off.

My message will probably be voted down, now that you have answered it :omg:

You and me, both, along with a bunch of other people who don't assume that brilliance is lessened by occasional non-PC jokes.
