Very comfortable to point and fire, low recoil, and quite accurate even without extra gunsmithing. "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Recursion." "Recursion who?" "Knock, knock..."

I would love to try one, but I think the neighbouring primary school may get a little upset, and then the ARU would be the least of my troubles - I'd have to deal with three hundred little buggers armed with pocket knives and lighter fluid!! :omg:

ROFL - er, yeah, and people say I am slightly insane. If anyone is thinking of replying with the line "slighlty?" don't bother - it is way too predictable!

I know I did - I spotted it but left it uncorrected with the mindset "someone is bound to try and be a smart arse". Looks like I was right. ;P

For detailed work, though, I much prefer my SKS, but trying to predict which one I'll need each day is a problem - there's only room for one in the rifle rack in my truck. "Knock, knock." Well, I just stick to a basic Glock 9mm myself. Simple, lightweight, inconspicuous, and sufficient - putting a couple of rounds in the ceiling is usually all the distraction I need to shimmy down the fire escape (my favorite self defense move). But then, I'm not the maintenance programmer. :-D Chistopher Duncan Author - The Career Programmer: Guerilla Tactics for an Imperfect World (Apress)

Well, considering that I've been a contractor for years and tend to refer to myself as a mercenary, I can relate. I am partial to my Colt Gold Cup .45. I always say, the bigger the hole punch the better. .38/9mm and smaller hole punches only piss people off. ;) Gary Kirkham A working Program is one that has only unobserved bugs
