          My favorite (no link for it; sorry) was one in which, in the final pane, Wally says: "Of all my projects, I like the doomed ones the best." I used that pane in the splash box for a prototype application until they got me the final graphic.

              Greetings. -------- M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you “The First Rule of Program Optimization: Don't do it. The Second Rule of Program Optimization (for experts only!): Don't do it yet.” - Michael A. Jackson Rating helpfull answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

                  LOL .. I shy away from using those kinds of funny placeholders. I once had a dialog that popped up when a particular condition was true. In the real application it was to ask the user to browse to the directory where the file could be found. Whilst debugging it said "bollox i cant find the file". Err yes it did leak into production. :)

                  The only thing unpredictable about me is just how predictable I'm going to be.

                      I'm always careful to surround such things with

                      #if defined(_DEBUG)
                      //...
                      #endif

                      in order to avoid unpleasantness.
