When was the last time you saw a popular news site spell .NET as .NET, instead of .Net? I'm just wondering if it's because Bill's own products auto-correct sentence case or if the reporters are doing it in the hope that a million .Net's instead of .NET will drive Microsoft Corp insane (it's certainly getting on my nerves - which is weird because I really don't care). cheers, Chris Maunder

el reg[^] does Hurrah for the autoformatting clickety. Shame it defaults to the link url as the link text, rather than just leaving the cursor in the space so you can fill it out (moan moan moan...) -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I must say both ".NET" and "C#" are pretty bad for search purposes. I use search engines a lot when solving programming problems, and both names are somewhat problematic when used as search filters with some engines. But then "C" and "Java" were not much better :) Vagif Abilov MCP (Visual C++) Oslo, Norway

Ahh, I remember the time when we fought about DOS, Dos or dos. And even now some in my company try to solve the problem if it's UNIX, Unix or unix. Oliver
