Job board?
-
I wonder where the old codeproject job board is? I thought it was a good idea to allow companies to freely put job-ads online. Actually I got my current job because of the codeproject job board. Thanks! My company is currently looking for Ruby on Rails and WPF developers in Brisbane. Any suggestions on where to advertise for these positions? Are there any plans on bringing the codeproject job board back? cheers, Patrick

I don't know about the old job board, but the new job board is quite clearly linked from the front page: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Jobs/[^]

I guess the paid sevice replaces the free :) Check "My Codeproject", bottom right - you see a $299 "Coupon" there? Amazingly, that is exactly the cost of a job ad, too.
We are a big screwed up dysfunctional psychotic happy family - some more screwed up, others more happy, but everybody's psychotic joint venture definition of CP

Does it appear only for Supporters/Platinum Members etc?

Chris said just over 5000 vouchers were allocated, but he also mentioned that he won't tell how they were allocated.

My guess: As with most things at CP, allocation by semi trained hamsters. All 5,193,986 users names were printed out and affixed to single sun flower seed. 5000 hamsters we released from their wheels, each trained to eat 1 and only 1 sun flower seed. The users who's seeds were eaten were selected to receive vouchers. (Slightly over 5000 because 1 mildly tubby hamster got greedy and ate many seeds)

There are 5,052 members who have posted 38 messages or more. This may or may not be the cut-off. This place may have 5,193,986 members but the proportion of Platinum and Gold members is tiny. Most of those members signed up to download code, and that's it. Only 518 people have posted more than 500 messages, although a few thousand have posted more than one article. (More than 5000 have posted at least one.)
