A change of routine

Okay, so they changed the Dilbert site. I'm not sure what they thought Flash content would bring to it. (It doesn't work on one of my PCs - and, as everything else is fine, I can't be arsed to fix it.) I noticed that other people had posted to the Dilbert site, stating that they weren't impressed. (Fair enough, it's up to the owners what they do with the site, but some feedback may be useful.) When I tried to register to add my voice I was met with the message that I didn't meet their terms and conditions :wtf: . (I used a valid e-mail and UK postcode - so I don't know why. The terms and conditions run to over 7000 words.) Never mind. No more Dilbert for me in the morning. (It's only occasionally funny these days anyway.) Vote 5 if you think the change is lame; 1 if you like it (or if you think this post is lame ;P ).

I get Dilbert through a RSS feed and it's much less hassle that way. I did subscribe to the mailing list in the past and currently I'm struggling to unsubscribe.
Could you share the RSS feed URL?

I read about why the site changed awhile back. Mainly down to pirate feeds of Dilbert content. Scott was seeing his hard work all over the net and not getting anything for it. He trid the "give it away and you'll get rich" model for awhile and... well, he didn't get rich. You can use the "Linux/Unix" version though: http://www.dilbert.com/fast[^] Or use the RSS feed[^]. You don't even need a feed reader for it, just set that as your Dilbert site instead. p.s. I agree though. The site redesign is awful.

I often have to RDC to a remote desktop workstation and I find fast/fancy animations screw up the terminal session (even in 256 colors). When I am in that predicament I turn off the shockwave plug-in and uncheck "play animations". I am not sure how to overcome this problem, animations are becomming more popular; I like sites like cp where animations are kept to a minimum.
