I worked in a culture where even 'challenges' was considered to have a negative connotation. You didn't have problems, or challenges, you had 'opportunities to learn' :wtf:

My fiancee’s a teacher and they have been told they must refer to white boards as "wipe boards" to prevent the negative connotations of racial supremacy that come with the implicit preference for white boards over black boards. My view: White boards are far better than black boards. I will continue to call them that because thay are boards that are white. If you don't like it, go build a bridge (in order for you to get over it)

"Learning curve" still makes me cringe. But worse, last week I was watching a video of a guy assembling a model for a model railroad. Every ten ten seconds there was one of: "First we'll go ahead and ..." "Then we'll go ahead and ..." "Next we'll go ahead and ..." "After that we can go ahead and ..." My fiancee’s a teacher and they have been told they must refer to white boards as "wipe boards" to prevent the negative connotations of racial supremacy that come with the implicit preference for white boards over black boards. My view: White boards are far better than black boards. I will continue to call them that because thay are boards that are white. If you use a dry or wet erase pen on it, it's a whiteboard. If you use chalk on it, it's a blackboard (even though most modern ones are green). What's racist about that?
