Pron for Visual Studio .NET

I just received a subscription offer for "Hardcore Visual Studio .NET" from Pinnacle. What's obscene (other than the name) is the price: $219/year for 12 monthly issues, 16 pages of 'tips' that wouldn't deserve to be posted here... guess I'm in the wrong 'business'. Steven J. In my experience, every one of those little 'magazines' that Pinnacle has ever published has been junk. Way overpriced junk, at that. I have felt ripped off on more than one occasion after signing up for a subscription. I finally learned my lesson and won't ever buy a subscription from them again. :( Just my two cents worth, -Mike Stevenson Owner, Liquid Mirror Software and eBooks, Shareware Junction Downloads and Crush Alarm http://www.liquidmirror.com/ - http://www.sharewarejunction.com/ - http://www.CrushAlarm.com/ Sign up for the Shareware Junction Banner eXchange! http://www.sharewarejunction.com/swjbx/

Those Pinnacle people are a JOKE. They offered a few free issues at one point, I accepted. They sent me four pamphlets of mostly sub standard information and then sent me a letter saying 'your subscription needs to be renewed' and an invoice for a horrendous amount of money. I wrote, thinking it was an error, but they were adamant that I was a subscriber and needed to pay. I told them that as I have a wood fire, I would find a use for the 16 pages of crap they sent me every month, but I would never pay, so really it was their call. They have been sending me the .NET information as well. I guess they make a living out of people who are really busy and subscribe to so many things they lose track and just pay them. Or pay secretaries who wouldn't know the difference to handle such things. Christian We're just observing the seasonal migration from VB to VC.
