If you're a C++ programmer and would like to run C++ inside a browser check this out: http://www.artima.com/forums/flat.jsp?forum=270&thread=234365[^] It interesting that C++ got totally left out of the Web programming arena - both server side and client side. And don't mention ATL Server; I doubt anyone used that - it was discontinued after like two-three years I think (just image having built a huge product on ATL Server only to learn a few years later it was discontinued....auch).

Apache supports CGI applications written in C++ In fact you can use anything that can see environment variables, and output stuff to stdout. Just most people use perl or ruby, but you could create a whole website as a .bat files running on a Windows server if you really felt like it

You can use CGI or ISAPI Extensions. I have a couple of websites running this way.
