Questions are a tad "US" oriented. As a French person, I only can guess about TV series that run in the US. :sigh: Still, I am 56%. Youhou, I still have a life ! :)

There were questions about TV shows. That's 100% wrong, because: (1) A true geeek doesn't watch TV. Passive media are for boring people who don't know what to do after work. (2) Never heard about "Firefly". When did they broadcast is in Germany?

            This statement is false.

The geek knows that they made a film version called Serenity. It was widely blogged about.

I completely agree... A true geek would have it on DVD or ripped onto his HDD to watch in true hi def :-D ;P

The earliest date listed for playing video games was 1980. I quit the quiz at that point. :cool:I played Spacewar in the '70s (both ships looked the same in the version I played)

Exactly! No true geek would watch low quality video without a pause button or an instant messenger in a corner. It must be hi def and allow overlay windows.

                          This statement is false.

In an ideal geek environment there would be multiple monitors... one for work, one for movie, one for IM/email/etc :D

At the first questions, did you get extra points just due to the fact that you are a girl and you were answering a quizz for geeks ? I am just curious about how stereotyped the thing is.

The company I work for operates a whitelist approach - so websites which they (Websense, that is) haven't yet got an opinion about are blocked as well. Sucks.

55%, though it would have been lower without the computer game question. Yeah, I played some computer games in the 70s and hated most of them. It wasn't until Castle Wolfenstein in the early 90s that I finally said "Ah, this is what computer games should be." Even then it wasn't until the late 90s that they really arrived for me.
