Mac. It's always worked in the past. Javascript is turned on, as is Java. I should reboot, I guess, the Mac has been on for days. I guess it's not just windows that has that issue. AND I just found out that a date time on the Mac has no milliseconds component, the best I can do is to time something in seconds. The iPhone USED to have an enum on the event fired for an action to tell me if it was a swipe. They removed it, so I need to calculate my own swipes. Now, I expected a swipe to last less than a second, but I don't see how to make that reality. (edit) looks like the Mac is just like Windows, lots of different Date classes. I found the right one (/edit)

Hate to rub this in your already salty wounds but my Vista x64 machine's quite happy to have been running continuously for 3 months non-stop (was remote desktoping from uni and then back home) and switched it off when I was going to be away for a week or so. Didn't ask to but I just felt like being kind

Yes, I've heard that Vista works for some people. This is nothing compared to how bad my PC gets from running XP for a day tho.

So, gmail is only working in simple mode, I come to CP and I find that there is no post voting ( I went to give Nish a 5 below FWIW ), and then I notice the menus don't work. I don't think javascript is working at all... and yes, it is turned on in the preferences

Why don't you use Firefox 3? I use it on both Windows and MAC. And everything just works fine. I'm sure it won't take more than 5 mins to dowload and install on average machine ;P

I've had a few odd things as well w/Safari. Usually it's a missing "Quote Selected Text" box.

ROTFL - brilliant. As I said, all js was not working, on all sites. A reboot fixed it. Looks like a Mac is just a PC after all.

My complaint is with safari, not CP. But yeah, I've seen that happen with CP on safari at times, too.

Agreed! (And the quote button was there this time!) Just sharing in the misery.
