I'm heading off to Port Elizabeth[^] with my girlfriend to give a talk at a local user group next month and was wondering something I've never really considered before: is it unromantic to pick a B&B that has WiFi?

Cheers, Simon :baaaa!: > company:: Broken Keyboards Software > VS add for delicious BKS-Delicious > skype :: SimonMStewart > CV :: PDF

No, don't see a problem with that.

It's only unromantic if she has a problem with it IMHO. If she complains that you're planning on not being away from the computer for the entire time, then you might have an issue..

Yeah, that brings back memories! I tried to get my hubby to go to the local county fair. I always like to see the kids with their chickens and rabbits. I also like the horses; don't care so much to watch them show cattle or pigs. I don't think many show sheep anymore.

Is that because all the sheep walk funny?

We may all have been thinking it, but did you really need to say that? :D

That's nothing...on a really bad day we also take along an ethernet hub and a set of network cables - or even tools to perform emergency repairs and data recovery on an errant laptop [^] :-O

Nothing says romance more then a phillips head screwdriver and a can of compressed air ....

Who gets away and takes their laptop with them? Seriously, people, TAKE A REAL VACATION. Heck, even leave the cell phone home. (I gladly and quite intentionally don't have a cell or laptop, so not an issue for me.)

I don't much care for the guy who has been raising pigs professionally for 40 years, but the kid with his first pet animal entry I still enjoy though I am not a 4H type person. :)
