This site always solves my problems!
It is said that the most complex structures built by mankind are software systems. This is not generally appreciated because most people cannot see them. Maybe that's a good thing because if we saw them as buildings, we'd deem many of them unsafe.

Now if I can just figure out how to get them to open jars for my wife...

I couldn't agree more. I've used several articles to help me in my job over the past 6 months, not to mention the forums. After observing for that time, I'm finally attempting to make some contribution (at least in the forums...not quite ready for an article yet...I'll leave that to the pros:cool:). Dybs

Here! Here! If I wasn't at work, I'd hoist a brew in honor of this site. Seems fitting actually that my first post ever on the site be one where I say a very sincere thank you to those of you that have contributed to this site in terms of coding examples. I've been reading Microsoft's Step by Step book on Visual Basic 2008 in efforts to learn the language. Which has been a great starter book for me. But you guys with some of the programs you've put on this site have been another great help to me in showing me some "outside the box" ideas that this book wouldn't necessarily cover at all. Thus helping further my own education in programming. So thank you to all of you! And thanks as well to those who take the time to maintain this great site for us to come and learn from each other! Bravo! Bravo!
