We are alike then - I prefer Coca Cola 24/7/365. Well that's not entirely true - I *only* like Cola - just the smell of coffee makes me feel sick. The ultimate fix though has to be alcohol, and I find that in reasonable quantities it does actually lead to a better late night computing experience. Of course though, nothing can beat a little warm vegetable oil and...

Trying to program while drinking veg oil for me would be like listening to white noise on headphones. Plus, it's *gotta* be bad for you, all that fat... ...what? you don't drink it? hmmm... ew!

To explain Donald Knuth's relevance to computing is like explaining Paul's relevance to the Catholic Church. He isn't God, he isn't the Son of God, but he was sent by God to explain God to the masses.

Ah yes. I'm starting to get a gut though, and the thought of having something like my dad..... But there is time, and a thing called exer-cise. Apparently I will have to go out and.....exert....myself. Something to do with doing more than i have to at the moment. Don't know what these hippies will come up with next. It will never catch on. :)

I know that most programmers have either a coffee or a cola fix. It seems that once you choose one you never use the other. I have to admit that my coding fuel is Coke (I drink about 6 cans a day).

Lot's of sugar will do that to you! I do drink low joule cola, pepsi max is my addiction. It's a lot easier to clean up if you spill it, doesnt leave a sticky residue. I also drink huge amounts of coffee.

Two famous acronyms***** are WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) and RTFM (Read The Fucking Manual). So, we get Jesus Would Read The Fucking Manual. Catchy, ain't it? :) * It just doesn't seem right calling it an acronym when it can't be pronounced. Does anyone know what it really should be known as...?

I prefer tea. Of course very few Americans drink tea so I don't even have stale dishwasher tea at work. I really don't understand why coffee is so favored. So what if it has more caffeine your body will just become more immune to the effects anyway. And it certainly doesn't taste good. My favorite tea is Assam it's really strong but doesn't make me jittery like coffee does. I think that black teas from India are the best.
