What is your fix?

beer
To explain Donald Knuth's relevance to computing is like explaining Paul's relevance to the Catholic Church. He isn't God, he isn't the Son of God, but he was sent by God to explain God to the masses.
/. #3848917Ah yes. I'm starting to get a gut though, and the thought of having something like my dad..... But there is time, and a thing called exer-cise. Apparently I will have to go out and.....exert....myself. Something to do with doing more than i have to at the moment. Don't know what these hippies will come up with next. It will never catch on. :)

I know that most programmers have either a coffee or a cola fix. It seems that once you choose one you never use the other. I have to admit that my coding fuel is Coke (I drink about 6 cans a day).
A little coffee, a good deal of fruit juice, and lots of water. I stopped drinking cola on the advice of my dentist. /ravi Let's put "civil" back into "civilization" http://www.ravib.com ravib@ravib.com

What is "scratch" and why can everything be made from it?
I'm a tea man, but when I'm at work I join the enemy and have coffee, but only because the machine produces something akin to a brown stale bitter used dish water, and tries to attempt to pass it off by labeling it 'tea' of all things. Crazy. The shear audacity of it.:omg:

Ravi Bhavnani wrote: I stopped drinking cola on the advice of my dentist. Heh, heh. I stopped drinking coke on advice of my body after I became diabetic. Lot's of sugar will do that to you! I do drink low joule cola, pepsi max is my addiction. It's a lot easier to clean up if you spill it, doesnt leave a sticky residue. I also drink huge amounts of coffee.

Two famous acronyms***** are WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) and RTFM (Read The Fucking Manual). So, we get Jesus Would Read The Fucking Manual. Catchy, ain't it? :) * It just doesn't seem right calling it an acronym when it can't be pronounced. Does anyone know what it really should be known as...?

I prefer tea. Of course very few Americans drink tea so I don't even have stale dishwasher tea at work. I really don't understand why coffee is so favored. So what if it has more caffeine your body will just become more immune to the effects anyway. And it certainly doesn't taste good. My favorite tea is Assam it's really strong but doesn't make me jittery like coffee does. I think that black teas from India are the best.

Mountain Dew. :-D For some reason, I've never liked colas. The only tea I've enjoyed is the Nestea in a can. My first taste of coffee has scarred me for life -- can't even handle the slightly coffe-flavored ice cream. :-O John

Coffee. I can't drink coke neat, I have to dilute it with Bacardi Paresh Solanki "To the world, you may be just one person, but to one person, you may be the world"

Coffee - it's free at work, and I drink wayyy too much of the stuff. I also keep a 2 ltr bottle of orange squash around so if I'm thirsty I've an alternative. Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd
