Definately "a simple plan" The acting was crap, the story line was full of holes and soooo predictable, and the actress who played the annoying wife was too good at it....:mad: X| "worst movie EVAR":-D

That's easy. Battlefield Earth. Easily the most intelligence insulting movie of all time. There have been movies where I left thinking that I could have better spent that $13.50 elsewhere, but BE... I actually stood in the theatre lobby and considered asking for my money back!

"Behind Enemy Lines" beats them all. Michel It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time to say anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a very long time to say, and to listen to.

I've seen to much of it, it was a "cheap production" by all means of the plot: Make a checklist "this goes in, this goes in", to predictable, steering clear of all problems that might arise, oh so complicated problems pile up like camle sh*t, then vanish in a poof of Chanel dust like it ever does in a cheap movie (the old gree had their "deus ex machina" for this), no esprit in the story besides the initial idea. But that's just me, I can rarely enjoy a hollywood film.

I thought Swordfish was pretty lame. The General's Daughter was dumb. Bandits sucked. Monster's Ball was way overhyped - you shouldn't give Oscars based on orgasm-faking ability. etc.

I hate Jim Carey so I hated Ace Ventura pet detective. Ever since I have stayed clear of any Jim Carey movies Also Message in a bottle is high on my hate list (ok it's old I don't go to the movie often). I can't stand these kind of movies, just when everything seems to come out right, on of them gets killed when trying to save someone else. Rutger

If you walked out on Nightfall, then you missed it. Had you stuck around to the end, you would have had an opportunity to throw a soft drink at the screen. They effectively spent the entire movie developing characters, and then rolled the credits. If it was a book, I would have thrown it across the room. No, wait, the book was good... Well, they're certainly not the worst, but I find both of the recent Star Wars "prequels" to be tedious at best. The sort of stuff that you want to rent a video of, turn off the sound, and then listen to Dark Side of the Moon or something on your stereo and leave it as background ambience. Nice eye candy fx, but as a movie to become absorbed in, it's just not a "fun" movie. Too serious, too arcane and convoluted a plot. The original Star Wars movies were a romp, fun, simple and entertaining. I think Lucas is now trying to prove he can do "serious" filmmaking with these. Blah. He should stick to space cowboys. Mind you, I didn't say I considered them serious films, only that I thought Lucas was making a misguided attempt to gain more critical credibility in his work when he should instead stick to just entertaining people. Jar-Jar was an obvious and extremely clumsy attempt to inject some comic relief into an otherwise tedious film, in a failed attempt to recapture the lighthearted banter between the 4-6 characters.
