I didn't say anything about hawking an extra paper. I did have the L.A. Times delivered to me at that time. I still have the front page of 9/12's paper, and also when the Angels won the World Series in '02, along with Mark McGwire breaking Roger Maris's homerun record. Those were all at the time when I actually wasted money subscribing to a newspaper.

I didn't have to wait until the next day. I got my copy of the Extra Edition from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette around 2PM on the 11th. It should still be sitting around my parents house with the stuff I never got around to retrieving.

No he's dead wrong, no reponse is required. He's deliberately using nut job specious arguments and non-sequiters so it's humerous but also utterly ineffectual. I disbelieve the official 9/11 conspiracy theory not because some kid made a video and told me to. I disbelieve it because it's an utter pile of bull from begining to end, transparently so to anyone honest enough to think about it rationally. I deal with complex systems every day, I have worked closely with people who build tower blocks, I have been in the cockpit of a 747 and a 737, I have a sufficient grasp of physics to get an A Level and to understand roughly what they're up to at CERN. In short I'm a reasonably intelligent and educated person. I don't claim to be an expert on building collapses, structural engineering, controlled demolition, air traffic control or media manipulation but I can point you at hundreds of people who are[^] and who also, like me, refuse to be led by the nose to accept a convenient lie. How can those responsible get away with it? Precisely because most people have the same attitudes as those expressed here, 'my government wouldn't do that', 'it's too complicated too understand', 'I'm not self confident enough to argue with the EXPERTS on TV', 'I've got more important things to worry about than whether my country is actually run by mass murdering psychopaths.', 'It's a conspiracy theory therefore it must be wrong' etc etc. The bottom line is that traumatised people will accept the first convenient lie told them to explain their trauma and most will not only never question it unless prompted but will defend the lie they have believed even against all reason.
