The MVP award is an annual award, not a lifetime award. I was not reawarded, I was not 'stripped of my title'. therefore, the possible reasons are many, and they sure won't tell me what they are. It could be as simple as their wanting to change the demographic ( more MVPs from certain countries ), or that they are required to retire a certain number each iteration to make room for new ones, or it could be that I was too vocal about how I feel about Vista. Or it could be none of those things. I have no idea.

I actually suspect that with the number of 1 votes I get for trying to teach people instead of coding for them, that I may well not be a CP MVP next time around, either. I dunno, we will see.
