Can't Google ever release a finished product? Does everything have to be beta?

I agree. But the same goes for other companies, including M$ and Apple. Just take a look at the most recent flubs with the newest iPhone.

It's a bit of a kicker for MS, when Google can open their webpages faster than IE can. Oooh - I'm getting wavy line goodness under Google, so it thinks Google is a typo. Excellent.

IE cannot support large DOM trees efficiently, never could. Try creating a dynamic, large, js based tree in HTML and you will see what I mean. FF has always worked nicely with them however.

It shows when needed, I like it :) And boy it is fast! I like to dev tools too. Right click, Inspect Element, Resources (doesnt seem to work on CP).

Not only does it prepopulate my username/password fields with correct values, but as I typed in the CP url, it prompted me to a Lounge url with a msg id, so I clicked on it. Lo and behold it was something I wrote on 30 Aug, my post! Freeky stuff :~ Otherwise, it does look like a nice browser.

IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 4a out now (29 May 2008)I was using chrome and it pre-populated some fields with my name, email, work address, the name of my favourite cafe which I've told no one about and then the recipe of a delicious Butter Chicken that I didn't even realise, until just now, that I would be cooking tonight. Wow. What a browser!

I feel that they could have made the address bar a bit smaller, but apart from that it's frightening how many of the developers here are already warming to it. I do like the lack of status bar, but this might be a step too far for some users. Okay - holy crap, it's opened up the MSDN homepage in record time (and I do like the Most Visited bar).

Maybe something to end the eternal FireFox versus everyone else debate. :) I'm finding it blindingly fast, better than Opera fast.
