It is interesting. I will wait months before trying something new out of Redmond, but when Google puts out a half-baked product, bam, I'm there trying it out, liking it, even forgiving the rust on the sharp edges. I've taken my tetanus shot so the rust doesn't bother me, but trying out something new from Microsoft is like ingesting live Ebola virus. Marc

I will wait months before trying something new out of Redmond, but when Google puts out a half-baked product, bam, I'm there trying it out, liking it, even forgiving the rust on the sharp edges. Kinda helps that it installed in < 1min, didn't break any of my installed software, and didn't require a reboot... :-\

Yes, long install times is one of the worst features of MS products. Another bad one is the interdependencies and the tendency to require the latest versions of complementary products. For example, with Firefox and Opera I install new versions much more quickly than I do IE. Though I will wait a while for Chrome. It doesn't really excite me right now.
