quake3 on .net server?
-
hey, has anybody been successful in funning quake3 on .net server rc1 with a geforce ti 4600 card? I get some error about the OpenGL subsystem not loading properly. I tried installing the latest 2k/xp drivers from nvidia, but that didn't help. ( please, don't berate me for trying to run a game on a server OS, If I had another computer, i'd run the games on it instead. The machine is primarily my serving/development machine, and I'd just like to play a little quake on it from time to time. )

I still stick to Quake 1 :rose:. It runs almost everywhere, and has a software mode (of course) and a gl exe too. You can find the demo and winquake.exe at ftp.idsoftware.com.

You might want to try a little app called detonator destroyer (try google) to completely remove all drivers before reinstalling. Simon Hey! it looks like you're writing a letter! Sonork ID 100.10024
