Man, this sucks! I'm nuts about cheese, I'm just totally wacko when it comes to the stuff. My wife just came back from her shopping expedition and she came back with the following: 1. Stilton cheese (this will be the first time I try this :yum:) 2. English Red Cheddar, so sharp it'll make slices out of your tongue 3. English White Cheddar with berries I can't wait till I can try them :D

Anyone tried Blacksticks? If you like blue stilton you'll love it. It looks a lot like blue shropshire, but it has a much creamier texture. Best getting it from small retailers rather than supermarkets though. That goes for all cheese, but especially stuff thats best matured.

Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

OK, I know you have some issues with a few things in this world but cheese. I can just imagine the filthy looks you give people at McDonalds as they order one of them filthy cheezburger things. The poor ignorant pathetic fools.

Actually, when I watch people eating a cheeseburger, I throw up a little in m mouth. I hate cheese. I eat pizza, but only if it's hot and has extra sauce. Other than that, no cheese.

is something that comes out of a can, or resembles the plastic it is wrapped in to really be considered cheese?

I'm serious - it's really quite good. (You understand that the cheese is served as a slice on the side - you can eat the apple pie, and then the cheese, or vice-versa, or both at once).

                Best wishes, Hans

I get sick on it. You realise I live in the part of the world where Halloum (proper spelling btw) is as common as water. Its great. Tastes fantastic with Water Melon. No kidding. Just like Hans' Apple Pie and Chedder. Try it. Not grilled though, just white as is. You can also substitute Halloum in this case with Cow milk Keshkaval.

It may be the last, it is an acquired taste, if you like other blue cheeses you should love it, but it is strong. Personally I could eat it by the bucket load! :)

Its actually quite good! I saw on BBC Food the other day, Rick Stein spread a table spoon's worth of honey and some walnuts on some slices of Stilton, presumably excellent that way. Going to give it a try later on this evening :D I love blue cheeses, they are one of my Kryptonites...

Haven't had them. I prefer my cheeses off of a plate and ideally in large quantities :D
