Sorry Pete, I can't understand any of that unless it's performed in the medium of a 300 minute Moog solo.

Ah. You want one of the short songs. The single in fact.

Absolutely - it's got to be punchy and to-the-point right now, but I'll certainly look at the extended material at a later date (when I have 6 months to spare) before drawing a final conclusion :)

Technically, Chris Squire is the only one that has been on all of the albums (Jon was not on "Drama"). If you count "Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe", however, none of them have been on all of the albums. I had 3rd row tickets for the concert that would have been in July in Chicago, had the tour not been canceled. I'm hoping that when Jon has fully recovered, they will tour the States again. I'm also hoping that they will release another studio album. "Magnification" was a great album, but I still want more.

I saw them live back in the day, still easily the best live concert I've ever been to and I've been to a great many. They were so tight on stage (despite giving each other glaring looks throughout the sets). Also easily the loudest bass in a live concert, I could feel the air getting sucked out of my lungs and pushed back in again.

I don't know if his has been said, but I feel that once you have less than 50% of the original members, you cannot use the band name.

The majority of bands consist of one or two people being 'backed up' by the rest of the members. If the key person(s) go on tour then you would expect them to use the original name. Would you be more likely to go and see 'Bob and the Gardeners' or 'Led Zeppelin'?

Thank god... That name brought about images of John Paul Jones in a derby playing front man in a strange acoustic outfit.

That would mean Yes would have needed to stop using their name in 1972, after Close To The Edge, Bill Bruford left then making Jon and Chris the two remaining original members representing only 40%... :)
