        Wow. I had just read about a transformer (a massive transformer) going bad, and now this. It's to be expected given the complexity of the operation. The History Channel had a great documentary on the LHC a few nights ago. They tried to cram a bit too much science into an hour show but it's still worth watching if you spot it playing.

            Damn! This didn't fit my plan! I started borrowing more money than I could pay later, because I assumed that, after the end of the world, that wouldn't matter... ;P

                    it seems to be a faulty electrical connection between two magnets that stopped superconducting, melted and led to a mechanical failure and let the helium out from this article[^] And the best is yet to come. :)

                                      i know that feeling! Thats why i practice the petrucci stuff alot... its good exercise and that way i wont forget it! Id actually like to learn to play the piano...
