The banks are represented by the same bunch of Jewish Japanese solicitors. Sosumi.

TO repair the damage wont cost and arm and a leg, just part of a leg, according to the Shinto Bank

Wow, after the sinking of Titanic National Bank, and the flooding of Red Sea S&L the banks in L.A. were shaken up too. On an unrelated note, where does one purchase good caviar? The sushi restaurants seem to have it but grocery store fish eggs are merely bait.

No where. There's no such thing as "good" caviar. Well, not entirely true. Good caviar is the kind that's been allowed to mature into real fish. :)

Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan. In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches. Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived. While Samurai Bank fell on its sword, Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black. Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.

...uncertainty has now hit Japan. ... Didn't uncertainty hit Japan about 20 years ago? I think the difference is the Japanese have/had savings, the Americans just have debit and dreams. (and yes I'm American and no I NEVER voted for Bush).

Yeah, quite a few were hit hard. Don't forget C. Aiken & Company, whose situation is quite gay right now. Some got sued by their customers. Those that survived are steadily getting to the top. People with stock in M. Jackson & Associates feel like the whole thing is a thriller. On a more serious note, I predict that Delta Airlines is doomed. Matter of fact, I have insider information: their phone number was 1-800-FALL-OFF. That can't be a good sign...
