maybe you should take a trip to the local food bank where the "poor" can get free foodstuff. Check out the parking lot and see what they're driving. And go inside and see what they're wearing, and tell me that all of them are "hurting". I have done so and not everyone I see is "hurting".

And why would I have said that? We were talking about anti-muslim bigotry, not racism against blacks. Besides that, it's obvious that the crypto-muslim falsehood did not take root in the Democratic party, this is a narrative of the right - and McCain plays into it.
