Thank you! and good to hear that. And more proud of the fact this is from a place where a large part still depends on bullock carts.

No, that's an old TV show. Ted Danson plays Sam Malone, a retired baseball pitcher who owns a bar. Remember? ;)

Salute! Which roughly translates to "Good Health!" - My wife is a wap. Actually she's Sicilian... close enough.

Either Shog9 from udder space is a good deal younger than me or he really does have no appreciation for classics. My dad, mom, sister and I used to watch Cheers every week. MASH was on around the same time too.

                cheers, Paul M. Watson.

I remember reading somewhere that Shog was born in 1980 which makes him my age give or take a few months, so he should know Cheers, which is a brilliant show in my opinion. Also, MASH is another of my all time favorites.

According to Wikipedia, i should remember Cheers, but... i don't. I remember Fraiser, and various other shows that referenced Cheers. I remember a number of lawsuits surrounding the use of the name on actual bars. But... MASH... i remember watching re-runs in the late '90s. I think i've managed to block out most '80s pop-culture. Wife and i were talking about this the other day... i don't remember a non-freakish Michael Jackson either.
